John Platig develops computational methods to understand how gene regulatory networks change in response to stimuli and disease states. His lab uses systems genetics and network science approaches to integrate multi-omics data, inferring transcription factor and RNA binding protein regulatory networks to study how non-coding genetic variation affects gene regulation.
